Thank you for your interest in the Connecticut SMS. The SMS is simply the most comprehensive online trading simulation available featuring stocks and commodities. We have been serving the K-12 since 1997 providing a quality, affordable, realistic simulation to students nationwide and around the world.
The SMS is a web-based simulation, we are not selling software. Anybody anywhere in Connecticut can use it as long as they have an internet connection or access to a fax machine. The SMS is used by over 200,000 students each year and is offered by more than 20 State Council's/Center's on Economic Education and local newspapers.
Though we are web-based, we also recognize the value of customer support to our teachers and our students. As the teacher, we know you do not want to be burdened with questions about how to use the web page or what the ticker symbol is for "Wal-Mart". But if you, as the teacher, have a question, we are there to help. That is why we offer our teachers and our students a toll-free customer support line during market hours. You teach the concepts--students call us if they have questions using the web page.

To get started, click on a tab at the tob of the page and start looking around. Please feel free to make as many trades as you like. This is a shared demo, so don't be surprised if you see trades on the account already. We periodically reset the account.
